AA into DEN

Postby Midnight_LS1 » Wed Oct 19, 2005 12:39 am

Last week I heard Colorando will get the first snowfall that day. I was flying on FS9 with Real Weather enabled.

Flying from LAX to DEN in AA 767-300ER, I can't see DEN airport due to heavy clouds.  I turn on GPS and program NAV1 for ILS and contacted the tower.

Now vectors are given, turning to base I run into light snowfall, Anti-icing bleed air opened for engine nacelle and wing anti-ice engaged plus pitot heat:

Now turning to final, I encounter more snow!

Landed in DEN and used the entire runway using Autobrake #2 and max reverse thrust.  Dang skiers pack too much crap onboard and slushy runway!

Deicing in DEN, I got another flight to JFK coming up now, give me a hot steamy bath!

Amazing stuff! is that the new icy runway add-on? I wonder if it works with other ad-ons like airport upgrade 7.0...
