WW2 Ramjet Fighter

Modern version of the Focke Wulf Ta283 designed by German engineers at the end of the war. Originally powered by two ram-jets it achieved takeoff  through a rocket motor housed in the rear of the fuselage, once airborne the ram-jets would take over. The aircraft would probably have achieved speeds in excess of 700 mph!. This particular aircraft is a prototype recon aircraft. I have that plane also. Love it. However, I can't figure out how to land the darn bird without flying out the other end of the runway.

I know what you mean, Katahu.  I got that plane once, took off in it and had a wonderful time!  Unfortunately, I couldn't seem to get her slowed down enough to stay on that durn runway.  Even JFK's runways aren't long enough!

It makes me wonder what the aviation world would be like now if the Nazis had won. Obviously it wouldn't be a very nice place, but the crazy stuff the survivors would be flying about in...?  The mind boggles.
