Mr. Mugel... it only works if you're in VC mode, and the entire plane is modeled in the VC. F1-view alows you to go outside the plane... than you can make these shots.
I believe Kirk Olsons F-16 and this one a prime examples of this sort of models....

If its in VC mode, it will rotate automatically to the angle the plane is flying.

I started downloading the F1 but it stopped at 66% and I think the Mirage F1 file is down for the moment... Soui... :P
