Just a few shots from Pacific Fighters (merged with IL2 and the Ace Expansion Pack)...

Image
This one is the P-51D flying over the Pacific Islands looking for Zeros...
( I know it was an unfair advantage from the game's standpoint, but it sure was fun!!)

Image
This shot was a futile attempt at a carrier landing in which ended with a graceful landing.... :o

Image
....right into the drink!!

Image
After giving me time to think about it, my flight commander reassigned me to derusting the bulkhead for the next 10 days ...

Hope you enjoyed, and thanks for looking!!

Hey, nice shots Angel!
I'm thinking about buying the game. What did you pay for the total package if I may ask?

And was that a serious attempt to land on the carrier? If it was you should line up way earlier and fly lower.
Remember, the key to a good landing is a good approach!  8)

Lining up too early with a Corsair is not always a good idea, as you can hardly see anything in front of you, just like in the real plane :)

Landing just after a slow turn, or landing with a high descend rate (with full flaps and gears to do some airbrake) are the best solutions.

Great shots there. PF is such a great game...too bad I didn't found AEP on the stores, I have only IL-2 and PF, cannot merge them  :P

Forgotten Battles is still the best one of the bunch. The expansion pack is superfluous and the missions in PF are simply boring.

Nice shots nonetheless.

Except for the fact that the full merged game, patched to current version is just absolutely awesome in the shear amount of aircraft and the greatest Flight model I've flown.

The flight dynamics are great since v.4.01
