Recreating the good old days...

Postby Omag 2.0 » Wed Oct 05, 2005 2:39 pm

Where's the time? Where's the time when the good old jetfoil left Ostend on a daily basis for Dover and back? Long gone, I'm afraid... so I'll have to reinact!  ;)

Image

Leaving Ostend... Hugh? Trees on the beach? ::)

Image

The speed picks up!

Image

Full speed, full wing extension!

Image

This boat is FAST... the cliffs are in sight allready...

Image

The Belgians are back!

Image

Reducing speed to dock in Dover... but where's the harbour? And who forgot to cut back the trees last year?

I had a wonderfull "flight" ... brings back memories...

Cheers,

Omag

Hehe, the JetFoil is pretty fun to pilot, especially on those large rivers in mountain area, Alaska or so.

I spent much more time than I expected just hanging around, watching at trees, cliffs and clouds while going from narrow lakes to rivers with those boats  ;)

Ah Jetfoils.... I was never eround to see them fly, but they look funny...I suppose they were quick due to their design and manufactuer (Boeing, after all  ;D)
Looks fun, I'm gonna find that!!
Cheers  ;)
