I got it straight away... I'm having a little trouble though. i followed your tutorial and double checked it but i can't get the effects to work on my AG-14 (a small plane, slightly smaller than a cesna) I followed your formulas and adjusted a bit for its size but still nothing.

thanx a million nick..it's up and running.very nice indeed,,effects like this add so much more to the simming experience..thanks again nick for all your hard work ;) :)

post a link to the plane and I will take a look at it for you

It could be the plane is tiny and the gauge needs to be tweaked

I found a AG-14 by Tim Piglet Conrad (AG-14.zip) and the FX work fine for me. The only thing I noticed is because of the tiny size of the plane the FX remain enabled until the plane is 10ft in the air and I noticed it was best to run them at A-6, B, C-9

I do not know why you are not seeing anything at all. Verify your gauge edit is correct in the panel.cfg file.


Below are the edits I made to the AG-14 configuration files:

aircraft.cfg:

light.4 = 8,

thanx, will do. I just checked the effects again before i edit. There is a faint dust cloud, but not deinfed. It looks like the very top of the cloud.

iv'e had chance to relax and have a real good look and a mess around and all i can say is......bloody marvelous nick it's a million times better a masterpiece :) :) thanks.
