think my left and right eyeball have changed places. i can see the little sausage when i place my two fingers tip to tip together, but the 3d photo evades me......

well i'm sorry you all can't manage to do it..it's a  :'( shame
it's one of those things,you can or you can't i guess...but once you've managed to crack it then you never forget,,a bit like learning to ride a bike when you were young

Assuming you know how to go cross-eyed on purpose...here's what you do for these.

When you see the two photos side by side, look in the middle and slowly cross your eyes.  At the right amount of crosseyed-ness, you can get a single picture to evolve from the two merging together.  *it helps to stare at the plane in the middle and move your eyes until you see the new plane*.  Stare at your new picture that's come in the middle for a while (it should be all blurry)  and VERY slowly focus on it.  After a while, you can completely focus the middle picture, and voila, a 3D picture.

I just love the 3-D artwork, what ever it is, posters,planes.... But the way you do it is totally backwards than the way I do it for my favorite 3-d maze poster.

Does this make any sence? Instead of crossing your eyes to make one 3-D image, like above, your eyes go the other direction. Outwards.

Still very good work there lemoncat, I like the first one!! But, the cliffs are cool too.
