You forgot to mention that it was the Royal Navy that proved that the Corsair was suitable for carrier operations. :) ;D

A new recently restored Corsair rolled out of the Yeovilton Fleet air arms museum workbenches. The odd thing is that this one looks ..well...Battered.. They did a "reverse" Overhoul. Basically instead of making this one look brand new they gave it an Authentic war weary look. Lovely stuff me thinks!

cspyro, "schools in" is a good thing! Let's see what you can come up with in your first attempt at being a professors' understudy... :)

Now that's something special Soui!
A fully reconstructed Corsair!

Woodlouse...Only in England you say?.... ;)

I don't visit this part of the forum much & stumbled on this by accident. I think it's a great idea & would like to see more like it. In fact I've been doing something similar in the Photos forum.

Yes, you forgot that little detail Prof Clipper! :)

Us Brits were the first to get a Corsair 'Off The Deck'', so to speak. 8)
Prior to that the Americans were too scared!
