......something happens with this program to bring a big smile to your face.

I used to own this plane. Well, not quite this one - the one with this reg. The paint job of this one isn't quite right but I'll fix that when I have time.

Earlier today I DL'd Bill Lyons's Tripacer and I've just tried it out in one of may favourite places - Kai Tak. It's really amazing. The instruments are a bit newer than mine were but the cockpit is so incredibly realistic and so like my old one - almost identical really - I really am amazed. The look with the shine on the gauge glasses and stuff is brilliant.

People, if you want to know what it is like to fly a beautiful vintage aircraft then you just have to get this one. The sound isn't quite right - least not compared to my old 150HP Lycoming but the overall experience is fantastic. I am so looking forward to flying this one some more. I had it based mainly at Sherburn for which I already have some brilliant scenery installed and I've also got Leeds which I used to drop into from time to time. Pity there isn't a scenery for RAF Swanton Morley (Norwich) where I learnt to fly and where the old girl was when I first picked her up.

This is gonna be some BIG nostalgia trip  :)

Great shot, Roger. The first aircraft I flew by myself, unassisted (in the right seat, of course) was a Tri-Pacer. A very unforgettable day. Thanks for finding this, Roger. A must have for me aswell. :)

Haven't had the pleasure of flying a real "Milkstool", but I agree that model is fantastic- good to hear it verified by someone in the know.
Very nice screenshot, BTW!

The Lyons' stuff is remarkable, right down to the quality of the paint. I'm going to check out Kai Tak, sounds really nice. Beautiful shot by the way, your sky is brilliant.

You used to own it? Why did you get rid of it?
