Defending Goodyear

Postby Jakemaster » Mon Sep 26, 2005 7:56 am

In the goodyear blimp defender!  THis blimp was made for FS2002 by bill lyons.  IT flies well in FS9, even though it isn't fully compatible.  IT is a lot of fun once you learn how to handle it.

What a coincidink! Another blimp!

Like I said, it works fine in FS9.  THat is what Im flying it in(well, its GW3).

One really cool "secret" is that if you change the year to 1929-1934 in the TIme and Season, it gives you a different poster under the clip next to the copilots seat.  1929 is the national airraces in cleveland, 1930 is the air races in chicago.  1931 is something, 32 is the world series, 33 and 34 are the Chicago Worlds Fair.

Nice! They've got a Zeppelin out now, but it's payware :'( (not too expensive though) AND it needs ActiveCamera to really appreciate it, but it looks totally cool.

Not that those guys don't deserve to make money, good for them! Golden Wings 3 and the Custom Classics are out of this world, and anything that keeps the wolf from their door and lets them keep making great freeware is alright with me :)

yeah, but my birthday isn't until july!

And yes clip, it is fun for a few hours of flightseeing.  And landing is fun, it takes like 10 minutes just to land.  Another thing that's fun is trying to "moor" to various posts and buildings.  I came really close to mooring the empire state building.
