Sanderson Field Scenery Overhaul

Postby Bell206freak » Mon Sep 19, 2005 4:57 am

Well, I am back, I hope anyways, from a long hiatus from scenery design.

Thanks.

I did some more work to the package last night, such as adding some lakes Microsoft forgot, repositioning and realigning Highway 101 (a nine-mile-long stretch, no less), and readjusting some default coastline and LWM data.  I have to work out some compatability issues with Holger Sandmann's CR Gorge scenery, since I am using the same default BGLs that he used in his package.

I have a quick question.

I was able to make my own scenery objects and export them to Flight Simulator in gMax last night. The problem is that I cannot get them textured. How do I go about creating and texturing objects in gMax? I remember there being a tutorial for this somewhere, I just cannot find it.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm a heli freek & have even designed a couple for FS2000/2 - working on R-44 now for FS9. Scenery looks great - hope it gets here :) There is nothing like good heli flying scenery ....

This any help?

I'll see if that works. If nothing else works, I'll just create the objects and ask for outside assistance in texturing.

Nope.  Not yet anyways. For some odd reason, I just cannot get the textures to show up, and I've exhausted nearly every available resource.
