ThX

I eliminated the prop wash mist so just the splash and wake FX would show for the test images

It looks even better with the prop wash blowing up water mist but it can wack the heck out of frames if you get behind the aircraft for a face full of water spray... still workin on that one.

Much better compared to the originals.

Seaplanes somehow are neglected in the addon community

Good job. The wake, especially, looks much, much better. All it needs now is a little bow wave, and... perfect.

I am aware of that issue. When I designed those effects several years ago I was limited by a slow system. The clarity and amount of FX that shows on the screen is influenced by the system itself so there were some things I did not even see happening on the screen with the system I was using.

I will be addressing all that as I am working on a complete package for water/ground effects for seaplanes large and small.

The appearance of the FX is totally dependant on the contact point type and location on the aircraft The FX itself is fine, but the contact points determine where you see it.

I like the Golden Hawaii aircraft but I have not tweaked the contact points as of yet.

Unfortunately that is something the person that installs the FX will have to do. It is not possible for me to download every sea-plane and water related aircraft/boat on the net and properly locate the contact points. I could spend months just doing that.
