MD-87

Postby killerbunny » Wed Sep 21, 2005 10:15 am

As promissed to clipper yesterday : The cantu MD-87.  Looked for it and found it here at simviation,  installed it and took it for a short flight between Brussels National (EBBR) and Paris Charles De Gaules (LFPG).  For some reason, I always liked those MD-8x aircraft. Not as much as I like the Airbus A330, but I like em ;)

Here it is, parked in Brussels.  Looks very nice with the stairs at the back and the truck in front.  Too bad the truck doesn't have a livery.

Taxiing to the runway, my favourite modern airliner parked in the background ;)

Some time after takeoff, climbing to the cruising altitude.  It needs a lot of runway to build up speed for takeoff (or -which is quite possible ;) - I'm doing something wrong).  Like clipper said : the sound is something special :)

An image of the cabine.  This is not a part of this download, it came with the panel I installed.  Looks like my passengers have left the plane (which turned out to be a wise decision ;))

Starting the descent.

And then all went wrong.  I smashed the bird a tad too hard on the runway, my gear collapsed and that was the end of that flight.

Luckily, the bunny survived again  ;D

I'd have bailed too if there was a rabid rabbit at the stick! I'll pick up the panel as well. Your shots really show her off! I see you're into the "shadow" thing as well..(pic #2)..What do you think of the flight dynamics? Smooth and responsive? Nice series Killer... :)
