Here's a few shots I didn't post in the comp, but probably should have. I ultimately went for dramatics (not my strong suit), instead of my better judgement. I'm interested to know if you guys agree!  :)

#2 is terrific, but that pilot could use  a few more polygons... looks inflatable. :D

That third one is very characteristic "clipper".  Quite nice!

I like the third one a lot.  Just the blending of the textures and the clouds, makes it a supurb shot

I like the last one best, very nice!! It's a bit of a shame it's default, but it's still a nice paintjob, and it looks great superimposed on that ultramodern cityscape...though you were right not to submit it, people might find it a bit 'out of character' for the DC3. :)
