Sorry troops, no go on the last two answers. Here's a mathematical skill testing question. Get it right and you have yourselves another clue!

Start with the number 850..divide by 2...multiply by 3...subtract 75...divide by 4...add 72...subtract 300...multiply by 10...subtract 50...divide by 2...subtract 200...add 35...add 2...subtract 2....................... ;D

72 comes surprisingly often in the mathematical thing, maybe an ATR-72 ?

Or by the looking of the plane, an BN-2 Islander ?

I hope you guys didn't get a headache trying to figure this one out....First of all, the mathematical answer is 170 (as answered correctly by ecko)...now if you need it, here's something from a specific manufacturer that may help you out with #9....we'll get to #5 shortly.. ;)

Newsflash:

ImageWho'll put out the fire?

In a last minute, last ditch effort, Planespotter's sole hall of famer Jake "Master" scored a big answer naming the elusive number 5 correctly....The Aeronca Chief...proving once again he is a force to be reckoned with....Oddly enough even with Clipper's "give away" clues to #9, no-one has been able to come forward to close up this week-ends final Planespotters edition...The answer still lies waiting.....
