An Untold story. Russia/Japan in WW2

Postby Souichiro » Sat Sep 10, 2005 5:13 pm

We all know stuff about the second world war somehow or another. However what most of you don't know is that at the end of the war, Russian Forces launched a counterattack agains the Japanese Forces in Remote parts of the Pacific. While Japan had already surrendered the news didn't reach these outbacks and Russian forces were surprised to find active and resistent forces some weeks after the Caputilation. These forces were easily defeated because with the lack of information there was also a lack of supplies. Russian Forces Captured and tested several planes including Zero's and even some G4M Betty's. Here is a bit of Russian/Japanese mixture..

Escorting a Betty

Job taken over by some SQ mates so I'm off..

Now some forces still didn't give up..Too bad I wasn't loaded or something..This one got away.
Image

Apperantly they Destroyed any evidence of their plans and the ammo..What a loss!
Image

O well let's take notes of the position. Well have it searched through tomorrow
Image

Following two Zero's. Strange to fly so close to planes that were once the rulers of the pacific.
Image

Note to self..Make Sure the Comrads change the paint..
Image

Ow well that's all for today..
Image

After testing the planes were destroyed in a fire in the Hangar were they were...Imagine what could have been if the fire didn't strike there...More Flying Zero's!!

Disclaimer: Before Ivan or someone else questions this story.... 8) Yes I made it up ;D

Hope you had fun though :D
