"Today we are expecting snow, yes you heard right SNOW, down to sea-level at Sydney and up the coast"
That can't be right, it never snows in Sydney, it has to be a joke! I switch over to the next channel.
"An icy jetstream is blowing up from Antartica, plumetting temperatures in Sydney low enough to snow."
The story was the same on all the other channels. I get ready then open the door to go out to my car when a drift of snow falls inwards. I trudge out amazed. I make it to Sydney International after a slight delay (they had to bring in sweepers from the snow feilds).
The low temperatures have also caused fog, limiting visibilty to about 200 metres. Also the cold weather is accompanied with strong winds and occasional gusts of up to 200 knots! (Although the strongest i saw was about 80)
I hop in the Lear and get ready to take off

As soon as my plane is airborne a gust throws it around, and I go a little close to the control tower. I had a hard time convinving Air Traffic Control I wasn't up late watching "Top Gun" again.

Climbing through the snow clouds was something else!

I have never seen Sydney look so nice!

Enough sight seeing. The billionaire is already running late. To Brisbane we go!
