From Rags to Riches

Postby Clipper » Fri Sep 02, 2005 9:40 pm

I just found a couple of shots I took many months ago before I installed my Nvidea FX5200 256k card, thought it would be interesting to show the "before" and "after" results. Best $150.00 i've spent in a long time!

Nice shots. You could of made it really interesting by taking the same shots with your new card.  ;)

The difference is amazing, seems as if you made a good choice with the card!

Well how much RAM do you have, and what frames are you getting in the upgraded ones.

I've got 768k ram. My framerates average 30fps, but when I add the clouds as thick as I usually do, I drop down to averaging about 15. When I fly for real I do so with either no clouds or cirrus only.
