New York to Amsterdam...The long way...

Postby Triple_7 » Wed Aug 31, 2005 10:10 pm

I could have just flown east and went strait to Europe...But whats a trip to Amsterdam without a stop in Tokyo ;D

Taxiing...Nice variety of European airliners.

Over New York City.  Its going to be a long flight.

FL360 somewhere over Canada.  8-21-05

8-27-05...After a couple of days in Tokyo it was time to head farther west.

JAL 777 taking off to Kuala Lumpur.  Also had to wait on an Air France 777 to land right after.
Image
Lifting off with a 12 knot crosswind.

Climbing out.  12.7 hours till landing.

After arrival.  Passengers really didnt care for the turbulence on approch.  Especialy the last second turn of the rudder that made for a sharp yet perfect line up ::)  But hey..Could have made an even sharper turn after touchdown :P

WEll I can say that I love that 747 its one of the best detailed looking freeware models out there!

Would have been nice to see some more detailed shots of New York to Amsterdam shots though

Very nice shots and trip, but you got the directions mixed up.
In your post, east is supposed to be west and west is supposed to be east.  ;)

East-west, west-east, Ampsterdam, or Amsterdam...does it really make a difference ::)

Lets see...It was 10:10 PM, I was tired after a long day, have a toothache from hell (back tooth broke off and I have to have it cut out tommarow :'( ) loaded on painkillers, and did i mention TIRED ::) :P

Thanks though...will change shortly ;)
