I took a day off yesterday to kick back & watch all the fun at 'Mustang landing', but decided that by this morning I had better start making way towards the Caribbean again.
Todays hop was from 'Mustang Landing' California to Tombstone, Arizona. Taking in a brief stop at Phoenix for fuel.
Making my way to the runway at 'Mustang' & then a quick shot as we leave:
Saying goodbye to the west coast before we head east:

As we left the flat scenery of California behind, we finally came across some proper 'hills' again:
The Arizona Diamondbacks Stadium ('Bank One Ballpark'), Phoenix, Arizona:

A short stop at Phoenix Sky Harbor (KPHX) for fuel & then we were off again:
Just passing by Coolidge, Arizona:

Making our way into Tombstone, just over those hills.
Ahh, Tombstone, "The Town Too Tough to Die", home of the infamous 'Boothill Cemetery'. Tombstone has a very famous history with the gunfight at the OK Corral between the Earps and the Clantons (Wyatt, Morgan and Virgil Earp along with Billy Clanton and Frank and Tom McLowery) in 1881:

(PS: I know this is 'freeware' & that the last picture is an edit, but it is only a teeny weeny edit as I have only changed the colour - & I felt that being in Tombstone warranted the olde worlde look - cheers)
Thanks for looking,
TSC.
