Hi there, just a quickie... had to try out the new Zlin Z-43 by Jiri Brozek that the Jakemaster posted a couple of days back, my kamarad Pavel Novak took a few photos during the flight from his Z-142 so here they are....

Where better to start than another Jiri Brozek (et al) creation, Chotebor airfield...
Image

Checked out the dominant sights of downtown Chotebor before moving on...
Image

Nice cockpit there... as can be seen, I left the radio well alone... don't mess with things you don't understand, that's what I say...
Image

Only joking, I know how to tune the radio, but prefer to prefer to fly to international airports "pure VFR" i.e. unannounced, like every incompetent soon-to-lose-their-licence crazy....
Image

That's Benesov castle down there... probably.
Image

And here's the pearl of European capitals, the city of a thousand spires, Golden Praha! Well, the industrial outskirts....

...continued, hope you liked...

Been to Prague twice and I just loved the city...but I'm not sure if its inhabitants loved 60 noisy and mostly drunk german teenagers,in return. ;D

I'm sure the love was mutual... the Czech Republic and Germany have had a very close relationship over the years... ;D

...did you say 60? A school trip? A hooligan riot?

...am I missing something...?

Downloaded the plane from SimV, (15 Meg).

But...!

There are no gauges included for the 2D panel.... :'(...!
...and the gauges on the 3D panel are merely fixed photographs... :'(...!

Does the model require a seperate download to obtain the necessary gauges...(they are all special gauges!)...?

Cheers all...!

Paul.

(There are only two gauges (XML types?) included in the download)...!
Win 8.1 64-bit. DX11. Advent Tower. Intel i7-3770 3.9 GHz 8-core. 8 GB System RAM. AMD Radeon HD 7700 1GB RAM. DVD ROM. 2 Terra Byte SATA Hard Drive. Philips 17" LCD Monitor. Saitek Cyborg X Fly-5 Joystick. ...and a Briggs and Stratton Petrol Lawn Mower.

Hi Fozzer, I downloaded this one, which comes with a self-installer, and the VC is fine, and there's one gauge missing only from the panel, don't know why, not curious....
http://pwdt.virtualskies.net/download/pwdt_zlin43.exe
If you have an aversion to self-installers I'm afraid I can't help you more...

If you have other panel trouble then this thread might help...

Hope this was of some use... :)

Could you tell me which gauge is missing, pls? I think I can see all gauges that should be there in your pictures.

I'm just guessing... Did an error message appear when you tried to load the model into FS?

See for more info... http://pwdt.virtualskies.net/index.phtml?page=faq

I give up on this model.... :'(...!

I have downloaded the model from both SimV and Avsim and neither of them seem to contain any of the gauges which are listed in the Panel.cfg .... ::)...!

I have auto-installed them, and also extracted them to a seperate folder, and an examinination of the folders show no gauges... :o....!
The gauges listed in the Panel.cfg are special to this aircraft, and do not refer to the standard gauges in the main Gauges Folder...!

In most downloads the gauges appear in a seperate Gauge Folder, the contents of which are copied into the Main Gauge Folder.

There appears to be something different with this particular aircraft download.....?

This is all I get with the 2D panel, and the 3D panel only shows photographic, non-working gauges...>>>

Image

Very un-usual...!

Cheers...!
