Continuing my VFR romp across central Bohemia...

Prague looks pretty good, though the castle and St Vitus are conspicuous by their absence....

There's Ruzyne, hope it's not busy...

...and that no one notices this little buzzing plane stealing in... with a nice slice taken out of its tail, I've just noticed - my aerial colleague must have shaved it off with his prop when getting in close, methinks ;)
Image

....bzzzzzzzzzzz.....

Nearly there.... glad it's such a lovely day, hate rainy days, though fog is okay...
Image

Okay okay, enough already!

Down at last... got to clear the runway before I end up as FOD in that approaching 777's engines...

Dedicated to all the guys who contribute to FlightSimPeriskop and make flying in the Czech Republic fun!

...and a special thanks to Jiri Brozek, Bence Benedek, Tibor Kokai, Jiri Masnik and Istvan Jankovics

The CSSR Czech Republic definately needs more airfield sceneries and updated VFR cells. Would be my favourite place for VFR then, along with the other part of the CSSR Slovakia.

Reminder to self...give that scenery a try!  I need to broaden my horizons outside of America!

Well, I'm not the only author. I only worked on the VC and panel, so only part of your "thanks" belongs to me. The rest should go to Bence Benedek and Tibor Kokai, because those guys made the Z-43 look like the real thing :) And of course to Jiri Masnik for gauges and Istvan Jankovics for his work on the FD and the load manager...

Dobry den, Mr Brozek, thanks again! And the other guys are now in my thanks too, sorry to miss you all out!

'The CSSR Czech Republic definately needs more airfield sceneries and updated VFR cells. Would be my favourite place for VFR then, along with the other part of the CSSR Slovakia.' I agree, Heretic, but I'm not about to do it so I can't complain... new things are appearing, but slowly... the Prague airport update and this plane are new... what I miss is the castle and cathedral in Prague, and more importantly for me, Brno Turany Airport and also maybe the cathedral and castle in Brno... I haven't found Turany airport anywhere, and find it hard to believe that no one's made one yet when so many small airports are out... maybe I'll ask at FlightSimPeriskop but don't want to look like I'm complaining...

Thanks for looking guys, hope you don't mind the TWO posts... I always find it hard to choose from all the shots I take... :'(

Since you were the author of the (excellent) VC, most of my thanks belongs to you. ;D

Never mind. Post as much as you like, but leave some space for others on page one. ;)

Oh, there is Prague Castle scenery...

Just check http://www.fsscenery.org, you'll find many addons for Prague, including Prague Castle, Petrin observation tower, Vltava bridges or Vitkov memorial with Zizka's statue.

You can download Turany airport scenery there too ;)

Beautiful stuff krigl- that looks like a fun model.
But I'd still love to get my hands on a FS model of a Zlin 242- the only plane I've ever flown upside-down in real life... :) Seen other aerobatic Zlins out there, but no 242...
Graphics look real nice, BTW.

I had a quick look around and I can't find anything 242-ish either... sorry. I've never flown a Zlin in real life, upside-down or otherwise (must have been cool!)... but I have BEEN to Zlin.... bet you haven't!! Ha Ha! ;D ;D

I rate your achievement somewhat higher, though :'(
