Yosemite!

Postby Wing Nut » Tue Aug 23, 2005 2:13 pm

Anyone who has ever been to Yosemite will have wondered what the Valley looks like from the top of Half-Dome.

Hmm...  Now that I look at it, does anyone know how to remove the trees from the top?  ;)

Whoa, that's pretty nice scenery there, not too far off the real thing! Will have to check out those FSGenesis freebies... 9.6 metre mesh is pretty impressive, as are the size of those trees and that yawning valley compared to your heli... nice one Kevin!

Via an exclude file.

ExcBuilder:

Tutorial:
http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=71534
Tutorial Patch:
http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=71590
FS Connect:
http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=60789
BGL Comp:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/ ... _setup.exe

Me thinks this post should also be in the 'Scenery Design' section...

I didn't think exclusion builder would work in this case...  ;)  I must have recommended that program a hundred times.

Set yourself to:

N37* 44.75"

W119* 33.52"

Alt: 7883

HDG: 083

and you should be staring at the face of the cliff.

That's the file.  Here's a link to the page...
