F14 Shots With My New Video Card

Postby ThatOnePerson » Mon Aug 22, 2005 12:30 pm

Havent posted in the freeware forum in a while partly because ive been enjoying all my new payware and also ive been tweaking my new video card, when i took these shots i was getting about 40fps,a great improvement on about 18 to 20.So anyway what better way to come back than with an F14 :)Again cpmpression took its toll,im gonna try and buy paint shop or something to compress them and keep the quality :(

No need to waste money on stuff like Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro.
Try: http://www.gimp.org/
Same stuff as PS & PSP but free.

Congrats, clip; very nice stuff. and ditto heretic's comment: JPEG is JPEG; you won't see miracles with any program, but I also think the GIMP does just as good a job with compression as Paint Shop. It's very tweakable, and the cropping tool ( "Canvas Size") is my new favorite feature to play with. I find I can usually easily crop down to 800x600 before converting to JPEG, which helps the quality even more.

And...

it's...

FREE!! ;D
