Aha! The one million dollar question!  ;D

The aircrane model (hovercontrol.com) comes with a water-drop effect! It's part of that effect. Now, viewed from underneath the plane, the plume of water doesn't show... but the rainbow does...  ;)

Damn!  Didn't know they could do those kind of effects with FS9?  Pretty sweet!
