Seeing as he wanted out 'on the quiet', we decided to leave it until dusk, to avoid too much attention.
En route to KGNB...
The cleaned-up airport, seems they haven't taken much notice of the fact the pilot's gone...
After half hour of circling, no sign of the stricken pilot, so we landed near a small like, hoping the sound of us coming in low will lead him to us...
Dusk turns to night, still no sign of him...
Until..."Hey there, boy am I glad to see you!"...
"Same here Coke, let's get you outta here"
Leaving the area, heading to our secret airstrip, few clouds building...
Little did we know how bad the weather would get before we arrived...
About half way there, things started to get a bit wet...
Luckily the weather cleared and we were able to make a safe & successful landing...
"Here we are Coke, grab a beer and settle down for the night, we'll get onto your base and arrange a pick-up first thing..."
"Rgr that...just one question...who are you?"
"You can call me G-Man, I'm from the TBRT"
"TBRT?"
"Aye, the Torquay Boys Rescue Team"
