At last - a decent RAF Tucano!!

Postby edzmen » Fri Jul 22, 2005 7:34 am

Finaly a decent looking RAF Tucano!

This one is a repaint of the RanchoJEN Emb 314 ALX Tucano in RAF Training Colours. There's quite a nice VC and great panel with it too!

Just taken a few quick snaps of it for you to see below:

Indeed. We're still flying the basic T1 (essentially a stock Emb Tucano but with a Garrett engine and 4 bladed prop)...

Nice repaint though. I look forward to seeing SimShed's Tincan when it comes out...

Edit - shame the right wing texture is reversed...

SimShed Shorts Tucano

Suprised by the lack of gear doors covering the wheels too on this model...

Yes, on closer examination there are quite a few little problems with this model as you mentioned earlier.

But it looks just about passable as a stop-gap effort before the dedicated RAF model is released. But the VC and flight handling is good and its quite a rewarding little plane to throw around the sky! :)

:) ;) :D

I must admit some things:

1. the shots are very nice indeed
2. Tucano is reeeeally amazing - despite she's brazilian just like me (at least "half me") LOL LOL]
3. this RAF scheme is simply the very best - she's looking amazing wearin this "black widow" suit!!! fantastic!

Narcizo made an excelent model! ;D

cya!

Hey guys, maybe there are some diferences between Shorts Tucano and Embraer's - is this possible? I'll take a good look at her next time and try to solve this -
