My first REAL repaint

Postby Jakemaster » Wed Jul 06, 2005 8:46 am

I repainted steven grants excellent Rans Courier yesterday.  I decided to base it off of a real life rans.  http://www.justplanefrank.com/index.html- that's the real builders website.

I did this all in paint, and I think that this is as good and as accurate as it can get in paint.  I tried to be as accurate as possible.

I got into some detail, like the seats:

Heres some more pics:

maybe.  I need to get permission from steven and from the planes owner.  I'm about to do a real life paint of the one on floats. ;D

I'm gonna try and knock that one out today, but I have to take an SAT practice test :'(

Sorry alpha, but I don't think I'm good enough.  And I'm still working on many more couriers.

My only suggestion is on the top of the wing put some lines or indentions, other than that great job  ;)

There are some lines, just barley noticible.  Before anyone points out that there are no rivet lines, note that it is a fabric aircraft.

I'm working on some more paints, I'll upload pics later, and then package them and try to upload.
