Want another nice texture?

Beaten-up Aeroflot sprayer scheme. Floats look way better (and rustyer), and textures will work on the wheeled one too

thanx :)
just do a search for an-2 it's by tim conrad (piglet) easy to find it's been out eon's but still a favourite,,there's also a v variant on floats and some nice paints...i wish someone would do a bare metal skin for this baby...wonderful  :) :)

Ah, yes- that is cool; esp. the floatplane version. I like this AN2; found another with a poor VC, and another beautiful one that won't start, no matter what I do, so this is the keeper for me.
The "ragged" textures are close to a good bare-metal skin, but not very well-rendered...
Here's a question: even with the DC3 .cab gauge fix, I get no mag compass with this model!! There's a housing for a compass, but no compass... ???

For the one that doesnt start: all vertical orientated switches up, click the one of the panel screws on the left side for the supplemental panel (has the radar altimeter and fuel control)
Fuel switch (4 positon turnable) to left or right

Starting: starter is in the middle on top of the normal panel. one vertical switch and a horizontal one
vertical one should be up and horizontal one in the center

open the gas a little
horizontal switch to the left, whisttling sound should play, hold it for 10-15 seconds, then same switch full right and hold it there until the engine starts
