Never thought I would be back in a 747.  FAJS-LFPG

After fighting with the computer the other night I feel it is running somewhat back to normal :P

I have not posted many shots but have been doing plenty of flying.  I do believe I last left off in Houston.  Well now I'm a few thousand miles away.  So a list of unposted flights up to now...

Houston to Sao Paulo (Continental 767-400)
Sao Paulo to Rio De Janeiro (VARIG 777-200)
Rio De Jeneiro to Sao Paulo (VARIG 737-300)
Sao Paulo to Porto Alegre (VARIG 737-300)
Porto Alegre to Sao Paulo (VARIG 737-300)
Sao Paulo to Johannesburg (South African A340-600)

So thats all of the screenies not posted...Will bring some of them here eventualy ;)

Johannesburg to Paris (Air France 747-400)

Climbing out.  Its aprox. 18:00.  ETA 06:15.

Cruising through the night sky.  Dinner is being served and theres another 10 hours to go.

A nice view of the Alps this morning as we near Paris.

Cabin is being prepared for landing.  Aproching 9R about 25 miles out.

Almost down.

Ah, tera firma.  Some 10.5 hours after we took off.  We arrived only 2 minutes late.  Now time for a nap :P

A map of all my VA flights with the FTG.  This was the 48th.  To think I started out at CDG 15 days short of a year ago.  Now have been all over the world...almost ::)

Map is beginning to get a little crowded up north.  But every flight has started where I left off.  Wouldnt even have to lift the pencil to trace all 48 flights on the map.

Great stuff, I love the thought of picking up where you left off, if only Microsoft supported you!  I fly for Cathay Pacific and what looks like the same system you do.  I have probably 10 flights, 9 under 2 hours, and 1 that was 9.5 hours, for that was the one that got me.

Great shots again mate.

Thanks :)

Flying Tigers Group...Air France division.  But I have taken full advantage of using the affiliate VA's.  Out of 48 flights only 16 of those are AF, the rest from 11 other divisions.  Last AF flight I flew was clear back in September :o.  So far I've logged 193.7 hours.  Real time too.  11, 6+ hour flights...Longest being Singapore to LAX.  17.1 hours.  Main thing I do for those flights is start them before I go to bed, level off, set auto pilot, and then by the time I wake up its not to long before starting decent.
