Take it from me man.
first off, get a beter computer. Second, try to do stunts and cool stuff.
I dont mean to be rude but the screenshots at the end impresed me more than the video.

It might have been better without the jerkyness.
And also, dont waist your time with the taxying. Show the people whet they really wanna see: flying.

I give it a 4/10 for the effort.

here is a tip, change angles or even take the camera a little closer.

here are some examples that may help you in the future.

always happy to help a fellow FS camera man. ;)

cheers and dont take it the wrong way.

Well here is my own opinion after watching that....

I give you an "A" for you effort,

But like the other guy said choppy video made me want to take the highway to my bed and go to sleep.

Time for you to not only upgrade your video card, but also your version of Flight Simulator. The FS9 F14tomcat looks much sharper and detailed then the one you are using.

As a fan of "TOPGUN", I was quite disappointed that this video didn't take place on an Aircraft Carrier.  :P

Velocity,

I thought your video was fine.  I guess everyone's a critic these days.

Marick you really should watch your own video again.  You also spend the first minute of your video just taxiing around.  Also your graphics didn't exactly blow me away so I don't think you are in any position to preach to others about the quality of their system.

I give you an A for effor, but yeah, you need to update your PC and FS....I agree, the screenies at the end were fantastic, but were the high point of the movie...

If you would like to see the film I made, feel free to download it from here:

All I'm seeing here are negative comments from people who although they have produced reasonable products haven't produced anything really noteworthy.

Velocity ......... well done as a first effort.

Marick ........ you might want to sort your anti aliasing ;)

Ridge ........ good advert for FRAPS ...... you might want to try buying it. ;)

Telling someone to upgrade their comp and sim is really unfair. People do the best with what they have in this game and those of us that can afford, or are allowed to upgrade do. If we made negative comments  about everyones first efforts no one would attempt to better themselves.

On this forum we try to encourage rather than discourage  wether its screenshots ... vids ... or "stupid" questions, which there is no such thing as.

Velocity once again fantastic ...... and Ignore the negative comments.

cheers

I thought the video was amazing. Great music, sleek plane and some smooth ass flying. We all have to work with what we have, the artistic results aren't better or worse than anyone else's, they're an expression of the creators talents. So everyone lighten up and enjoy the huge variety of material available on the greatest sim sight around..... :)
