Yes I have.
The problem is, although the aircraft's cfg is configured for smoke, it points to a effects file I do not have and was evidently not included with the download.

For now, I re-configured the

It appears that to enable smoke, you need the file "fx_smoke_rx.fx" in your effects folder.

However this is not included in the download.
Evidently, those who can enable smoke, already have this file from a previous aircraft/install.

I did a search (on no nodes) for the file name mentioned in the readme ("p-3smkup.zip"), and it did indeed contain the file needed.

The "correct" file does look better than the substitute file I used at first.
