My Contest Rejects

Postby Steve_Butka » Thu May 12, 2005 12:32 am

Reject #1- really spent a long time waiting to catch a lightning strike n the distance while at the same time having a strike off-screen and this illuminating my plane like this.  I tried and tried and took a good 100 snapshots but just couldn't get it done so I settled with the Tropical one in my Competition Thread.

Reject #2-  Wanted a better picture of the sky, the cloudy weather wasn't doin it for me.

Reject #3- Liked this one, but thought the shot I submitted captured a tropical morning feel much more.  This was just sort'vr--- blah....normal. :)

Hope you like 'em-- let me know if I messed up!!! :)

I found the best way to capture lightning strikes, is to slow down the sim rate. Yeah, you'll end up waiting a long time, but you wont end up with 100 bad shots.
