Reworked panel for DC-3

Postby sir_crashalot » Thu May 12, 2005 12:12 pm

Hi guys,

As a regular user of the default Douglas DC-3 I found it's original panel a little hard to fly. Since it has only very limited autopilot I decided to do something about it. I found some different panels on the various sites but none I liked. So I made one myself. I kept the original one, just added a few small thing, like Altitude and Vertical Speed, better readout for your heading and a Approach and Backcourse button.

What do you think about it? Comments please since it's my first panel.

It looks great.  The new gauges look like they belong there.

I love flying  the DC-3 and wasn't happy with the panel either...

It's hard to tell what is different, but I like it. Are you going to upload it?

To be sure of hitting the target, shoot first and, whatever you hit, call it the target.

There's no sense in being precise when you don't even know what you

I am thinking about uploading it. It's only a small change in the panel.cfg. The additions I put in are of the default 747-400.

*edit* It's uploaded. Hopefully I did it the right way.

;D ;D ;D
I like it!!!  I do love flying the DC3.  I found a DC3 panel awhile ago called I believe "Back to the Future" which included an AP and found it really good as well.
Great job, please upload it
