Had that problem too!! also the aft burners didn't show up and the VC wasn't what I expected so it had to go already. Too bad though the ext models looked great!

hi guys, this mig is my pupil's first project to be released, he put his heart and soul into it, and many things need to be still done to it...the problem is the following....he had an HDD crash, a major one, and he lost ALL FSDS SOURCE FILES and was only left with what the beta testers had. so he had to work from there. meaning tuning FDE's and such. that model right theres is 2 years worth of hard work and dedication.

Heeeyyyy...easy FelipeBelalcazar!

I liked it very much!  Okay, so the VC isn't as good as some other stuff out there (so what)!  I liked the plane.  So it's a bit hard to fly (adds to the challenge)!

I had it freeze up on me when i did that too...the action deploys the brake chute.  My system seemd to hang up for a bit not crash to desktop then worked fine.  No idea really what is causing that except maybe the computer fighting with the detail level....just a thought don't have a real clue..lol best of luck

Had a similar problem...lock I had to ctrl+alt+del out of...

I had a similar problem with the Photorealistic Dauphin...

The solution probably lies with making the textures DXT3 format (I'll play around and see where it takes me)!

Hmmm...I saw the afterburner before I started up...but it disappeared after I started...

I wonder what the problem is here?

Okay, played around a little bit and converted the chute texture to DXT3 format...

Here's what I've found so far:

1.  Sim will lock up if you hit the tailhook while stationary.

2.  An effect is overpowering the Afterburner (probably the fx_F14_Blueflame.fx...is this tied to a gauge?)...Doesn't explain why we see it in the shots (maybe it has to do with the livery or model...)

3.  So far, I can use the Chute with the Swift2 livery with no lockup (As long as I use it as it's meant to be used)...

Any other ideas?

Okay!  Solved the Afterburner!  There's nothing wrong with the effect.

You have to hit a switch on the 2D panel while the throttles are full open.  The switch is to the left and will give you the tool-tip Afterburner toggle...

So it does work!

I think he means the design team...

just your basic 80's TsAGI job, i tend to refer it as a 'no-fuselage' design as it doesn't have the pronounced fuselage section that most european / US designed aircraft have

Hi guys ;D

I never expect that my plane will to make all this fluttering :o , i'm glad that all you like my plane, the true i dont like the vc neither  ;) but when i finally learn how improved it the pc broke and i lost everything  :'(  :'(  :'(  :'(  :'( I only can save the files that you see in the installer.

I'm surprised with the chute problem that you say, that never happen to my and my friends never report it neither, i'll see what happen.

The afterburner works with a gauges, you can the see all the flames only when the throttle is over 90% and you have the afterburner on (Shift F4 or the gauges in the left of the panel).

Thanks for your interest in my plane

Aaaaaaaa, the plane is now available here, i was having some problems with the upload but thanks to the webmaster all is surpass.

PS: Felipe compadre gracias por la ayuda ;)

Download and install Foxy!

I did DXT3...and make sure you are moving fast before you deploy it, or your machine will lock up on you!

Nice to hear from you, and welcome.  Also, thanks for not holding our comments against us!

As for the chute problem, chalk it up to good old-fashioned PFM....;D
