bush flying

Postby Yurei » Tue May 03, 2005 9:34 pm

some shots from tonights flight around the north cascades checking out some wonderful bush airstrips :D

some of the airstrips are high up in the mountains. starting off at "Tom Saddle" KTOM

i crashed a couple of planes, not making the takeoff at this pretty short (and sloped) runway. but the cub did the trick :)

thanks tacit :)

it's holger sandmann's north cascades and washington coast scenery http://www.simviation.com/fs2004scenery24.htm  and fsGenesis west coast 38m mesh.
the airstrips are from James Belk's packages n_cascades.zip and n_cascades2.zip at avsim :)

thanks so much guys :D

feels good to have a freeware post again. but it won't happen much anymore since most other areas of my sim world are payware covered ::). ah well i could always post millions of screenshots of the north cascades ;D

and guys come done to the payware screenshot forum for a visit, it gets too little attention ;)

By the way, have you gotten the Columbia River Gorge and the update just released?  If you like the Cascade scenery, you'll loooove the CRG!
