Sad thing is that the sim for the E-145 costs more than the plane itself.

yeah but when you crash in a sim you dont have to go out and buy another one.  :D

Oh well, shame it's not FS2006 :'( :'( :'(

I wonder how long it will be until flight sims will look like this on a home computer?

Yeah right. Maybe at 1/2 fps at that setting !

Big question for me is, what are all the small boxes at the bottom of the page. Then it says ADJUST ? Missing letters ? Does anybody else see the letters ? If so how do I get them to show up instead of little boxes instead of text ?

If fs2006 looked like THAT...... I'd buy whatever machine that it took to run it!

The runway ice and blowing snow sequences are awesome.

Guess that is what multimillion dollars can buy you .   :P

Spidious,

Nihongo desu, ne'.   (It's Japanese, don't you know.)

For other professional reasons I have the Japanese language character set installed in my IE so I can get all the characters.  If you want to see them....... go to MS Windows website and install the character set.

The ice and snow blowing is nice.

But for the rest I am a bit disapointed. after al your reactions I thought it would be really amazing. But most of it is already availible for fs9 or is getting to it.

For example the Superscenery Which just arrived today.

So unless things get much better I don't see any point to buy this other to stay with the latest developments and new plane downloads.

Sorry If I sound too negative for it could be that the real thing is amazing but that the movie sucks. Well have to see.

Edit:  I know it's not for fs10

Souichiro-san,

Honto ni.  You must be looking at a different video than I was  :).  The visual effects in fs2004 are not anywhere CLOSE to the realism in that clip.

Soui: the guys at the training department will be glad to hear that they could have bought a desktop PC, a yoke and a licensed copy of FS2004 instead of that expensive crap.

The Aircraft landing was pathetic, looks good but still had that centerbody pivot, environments are important at 38,000. and sadley we only realy saw texture eye candy, its how it makes you feel in the captains seat that gets your brow sweating.

Environment........well Id like to see saint elmos fire over the nose when landing in heavy weather, the wings flap like in real life when muscleing throug clouds, where was the tyre smoke on the touchdown of that big jet, spoilers, engin cowlings, cloud gradient effect off the wings.

Its just a suck you in promo, nice to see, but still a pipe dream.  ;)

Hum.... let's see here...... sitting in the captain's chair surrounded by a multi-million dollar REAL commercial rated simulator with those types of graphics showing out of the windscreen, eyebrow windows, and side windows.

Yep, there seems to be a lot of confusion here, JB...maybe this should either be locked or removed...I've seen it at other sites too, everyone seems to be convinced that this is an FS10 teaser...not even close.  lol
Great edit, Bob.
