What is this obsession with VCs?
Does it fly well ..... does it look good... if you can answer yes to both of these then why worry about a VC?

Because VC flying is much more enjoyable than flying in front of a flat 2D panel.

IMO I think functionality and ease of use  is more important ......  If it doesn't fly well and doesn't look good then there's no point having it .....  ::) A VC is something that is unnecessary unless it has all the functionality of the 2d.

But doesn't it always rain in New Zealand? That's why they have such nice grass, for the cows, for the milk.....so they can make such nice butter. Or have I been watching too many TV ads?

Oh yeah - nice plane as well. I do tend to agree about VCs. Not necessary if everything else is great but I don't feel as strongly as I used to. Even I (cough..cough) often fly from VCs these days.

We all have different tastes...I like VCs myself because they are the icing on the cake...the other is night lighting (specifically landing and taxi lights) as I  like to fly at night...

Those aircraft have lots of extras though (especially the loading and unloading of cargo)...

Nice shots and great plane!
