Crazy-a$$ approach!

Now before anyone says anything, I'm not having a dig at the terrain, just really enjoyed the approach

The river approach, doesn't really show how close the wall of water is, but believe me, it's close!


Looking towards the mountain approach and parking area, much easier although you need to watch your port wing coming in

when you said aproach I thought it was shots of the plane landing, but good shots.

Hi Marick, sorry I didn't get any approach shots, but I did video it, so there may be a good chance of some shots , I'll see what I can do

I think I'm gonna go on a world tour of airports, trying to find the hardest approaches I can
Then show pics of the results

There is another airport just like that, but its a valley and the whole airport is about 1,000 feet below ground level. I can't remember what the name of it is though.

mm, the approach isn't as bad if you land going the right direction on the runway....
