And in the sights of the Rifleman....

Postby Rifleman » Sun Mar 20, 2005 8:42 pm

So we've had a look at todays session from two viewpoints, but here is the one which shows a tad more......

Here are todays original choice Corsairs, all lined up and ready to play a bit......
Image

After a few circuits in the F-4U Corsair, we decided to change planes.....I suggested that maybe the Zenith XL would be an option, so off we all went to get it......I have my own textures for a few and they showed up this way.........lining up for a formation take-off

Up and away we go.........take note of my Registration......"quite thoughful" I was told by my friend KC........
Image

Well these guys can keep it tight....all I did was try to fly smooth......Eno and Gnatman did an excellent job of hanging in .........

With this closeup, you can see me in my Kobra, and my friend Ken Coleman in the KC Flyer........

Ready for another change, we decided to move a bit faster and got out the Galeb........jockeying for position for another formation take-off........

Lined up on the active and ready to roll.......

Paints are looking good there Ken 8)
Love that registration ;). . . . . ;D
Awesome colours for my plane too! 8)

Hopefully next week Will and Charlie will be back, it's gonna cause major havoc as far as FPS go! ;)

And yes, it definately was a blast! :)

Cheers mate,

It's awesome Craig. I went up for the first time with GnatMan this week-end. Apart from the fact that I was completely dis-oriented, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. GnatMan put me through my initiation as gently as he could, but I still had quite a time figuring out which view was best, how to type messages while flying, where the hell GMan was, airspeed, direction, vertical speed, trimming etc. Try to go up with a powerful, responsive plane as the Cessna Skyhawk I used was impossible to push the way I needed to to keep up. Who knows, maybe we'll meet up in the air one day!
