A beautiful 4-engined 2bladed propliner...

...That should've grabbed your attention . The plane I'm talking about is the De Havilland DH91 Albatross. A beautifully lined Propline from before WW2. She's pretty!!

Hm, somehow two-blade props look pretty bad.
The more blades, the better (four and up).

Beautiful aircraft & lovely shots. I don't see what difference the number of prop blades makes if they're efficient. Extra blades = extra weight.

I think the family resemblance to the Comet jet airliner is obvious. Also the large rectangular cabin windows which were the reason for the Comet's downfall.

So I believe. The same construction methods were used for the fuselage.

I noticed that too. There is a definite resemblance although it could be coincidence.

Hmm.... Il have a look into that. Do you know where to get a good Scenery Of Dunsfold Aerodrome? It's a Former BAE factory now out of use but still open. not a important field now but I would like to have some good scenery of it.

Btw you might know the field from Top Gear they use that place

I think this was mainly caused by the start of WWII. A lot of promising aircraft suffered the same fate. Ironically one benefit of the war was that, just as in WWI, development of aviation progressed far more in a few years than it would ever have done without it.
