fun with a 747 cargo flight

Postby ARFFguy20 » Mon Jan 31, 2005 11:41 pm

Well I don't know as if anyone will believe me, but I did this with damage set to realistic and stress able to cause damage....believe it or not!  Anyways, I just thought I'd try simulating an emergency (since I had no passengers and I was an empty cargo plane) so I simulated an emergency where I had to land NOW!  Here are the results....NO EDITING.   Thanks for looking.
P.S.  Trimming the pics to 800 X 600 took away some of the look of the pics. sorry for that.

Cool-o. Reminds me of a clip I saw on the Web once of a very hairy , heavy-crosswind real-life 747 landing; wish I could remember where it was...

I had my throttle at idle and my spoilers were activated. I can't remember exactly but I think I was around 220 or so KIAS.  Thanks for the comments everybody. I enjoyed reading them!

Love the shots and last minute adjustment. Did you notice that the 747 stopped unusualy quickly?
