100,000 ft isn't really what I'd call an orbit, but that's M$ for yea.
Great shots anyway.

Well, if you want authenticity, get orbiter...

I would except that I only have time for FS9!

Very nice but nowhere near real! I saw a real night launch (forgot what STS :-[) and I'll never forget it! I can't wait until they launch a shuttle again, I'll be sure to attend that one!

Absolutley brilliant shots, Lemoncat. The shuttle launch (been to two) is a heart grabbing event for anyone to see.

I would like to duplicate an Apollo launch in the sims. The Saturn launch is even more dramatic (been to three; 13,15 and 17) and it would really stress your sound system!

Clear skies,

when you do make sure you poste it clearly I dont want to miss it.  must be something to achieve a glide path from that high and actualy land where you wanted in the first place not in the ocean because of bad glide path....

If you can circle the globe like the real thing i would suggest that you have a look a the nasa web site, there must be an archive somewhere that show the normal glide path. you could then guess when to re-enter from 100 000ft or maybe fsnav could help you with this.

I've only seen one launch and that was in the day time... FROM ORLANDO.  So, I don't think I got the full effect. :(

I would really like to see re-entry as well.  Perhaps you can land at Edwards if you need to.  I just hope the AIR file for the orbiter is close enough that it'll let you glide that high up and not scrub off too much speed.
