Great shots!  Is that the FSD t-38?  The evening shot of the pad and the sunset shot of the VAB are beautiful!

I'm glad M$ included this in FS, as I fly around there sometimes since I'm a space-race/NASA nut.  I've been to the Johnson Space Ctr. in Houston, but I hope to visit the Kennedy Spc. Ctr. some day....

Great shots and the sunset does look great!

Those 2 launch sites caused quite a mishap, I was watchin a stupid TV moments show last night and the news guy had his camera on one of the launch pad and he is counting down, he gets to 0 and he yells "GO BOOSTERS GO, GO BOOSTERS GO!" Films it for a few seconds and then...."OH S$%T IM ON THE WRONG ONE!" He does an about face intim to catch the shuttle about 1000 ft above the launch pad :D. I was ROTF.

ROFL!  How stupid can you possibly be!? ::)
Um, let's see- it's the one with the ORBITER ON IT!

I hope they canned him for gross incompetence....
Besides, yelling "Go" to the boosters makes one seem like they know nothing about the shuttle and how it works....

Good story!

Nice shots Pete. Looking forward to the launch. Make sure you check all the rubber seals beforehand  ;)

Is that the talon with the glass missing from the canopy? I can't quite judge that from your shots, but mine misses em and that kinda kills the fun...

Nice tour anyway, looking forward to part 2!
