avsim...
thanx for the replies..it's one superb plane that's for sure..
jordonj don't know what you mean by turning.. on the ground ??? if so try unlocking your tail wheel ;)
it turns fine for me as for the effects there built in you may need to check and make sure youv'e got the right file effects installed... :)

I mean when I'm flying (it turns just fine on the ground and in the water).  When I bank, I just fly banked (I don't turn unless I really lay on the rudder.)

Ben has noticed this as well...Ben, do you have FSUIPC?

If there's a way to fix this, I'd like to know.

Dont have FSUIPC sorry.

Yep Lemon, its the turning in the air thats the problem. You have to use FULL rudder and still it doesnt turn that great. :P

Whoa!  Lucky little...!

I wish I had that!

I've been e-mailing Joe Binka...maybe he'll let me put together a fix...

I plan to try his other widgeon...see how that controls.  Then I try a little exchanging...

Can you get the Widgeon to turn by adding heavily to the rudder?

Yes I can, but still it's not even close to how it should be.

I was really getting frusterated while trying to turn final!

I've found that if you plan ahead you can make it...

Try the Aviat Husky or the Payware Van's RV-7...those really require planning to land (they don't like to slow down...

I flew it for a little while this morning, and didnt have any problems getting it to turn.... ???

I am just using a joystick...

I would love to have either a CH flight yoke, or a Saitek X-45  ;D

Turning using just a joystick...as in no rudder?

Hmmm...I can control it acceptably using the rudder...

Where are your realism setting set...do you have autorudder enabled?

I bet that's the difference...I use the switch on the throttle of my X-45.

I also plan to be sure the Autopilot is disabled...

I did some playing around...the plane becomes a lot easier to turn when you turn the realism settings down to medium...

I wonder where the settings were meant to be when you fly it...
