Iranian Tomcat

They were just a small part of US military aid for Iran during the Iran/Iraq war.

I seem to recall everyone gunning for Iraq to win that war. Thats how we know Saddam has WMD's. Cause we gave them to him.

And as for buying strikefighters, last week I went out with the intention of doing so. I came home with the expansion pack for Vietcong (at last an FPS with bayonets!). Anyway, I might try again for it some other time. End of the month maybe.

It's called Wings Over Vietnam, and is basicly the same game.
However; it's only available to US consumers (unless you buy online).

I live in New York and come to think of it I just came out of a GAMESTOP video game store and I saw this "WINGS OVER VIETNAM" but didn't really look at it because I am not into vietnam era aircrafts. But you say it is basically the same game huh? Does it have the Iranian Tomcat in it? The next time I stop by the store I will check it out to take a closer look and read the box!

I look at it this way, If the US turned over a few Tomcats to Iran to fight a war againsts Iraq. If the US eventually decides to go to war with Iran (which I think will be impossible because our army is depleted as it is with the current war in Iraq). It would serve us (The US) right if the Iranian Tomcats shotdown most of our current planes with the upgrade electronics onboard!

Money will be down fall of this country one day, but I don't think we will ever see that day. Because our government (the US) talks to much dog crap about being in a deficit and everyone in our country is in a so called budget crisis, so there is no money to give to anyone to make life much easier to bare with in the US.

Not knocking India and Iraq. But you are talking about two countries not associated with the US. and here it is the US is throwing large amounts of wad at Iraq to rebuild their country to a democratic state. Out of no where the US first offers 15 million for disaster releif in that country, then up the anty to 35 million.

I ASK IF WE ARE IN A BUDGET CRISIS. WHERE THE HELL IS ALL THIS MONEY COMING FROM  >:(! Our government can give 2 craps about us and look for intrests to benefit them from other countries. They look out for #1 the almighty buck and carry on as world "POLICE".  That is why they can sell off planes they feel are obsolete. I hope it comes back to bite them in the butt another day!

Wings Over Vietnam doesn't come with the Tomcat, nor does Strike Fighters.
Most of what you see in the shots is made by third party designers.
Actually... it's all third party, but it's fairly simple to install all the stuff.
It also makes the game much more enjoyable.

As for the Iranians and their Cats, the US didn't just turn them over.
The Iranians bought them with their copious amounts of oil money.
They also bought some F-5's, F-4's, and a couple of P-3's.
Of course this all took place in the 70's, and they weren't really viewed as a threat.
