Dubai to Islamabad (Emirates 777-200)

Postby Triple_7 » Wed Dec 29, 2004 1:41 pm

Finaly getting some decent flying time in during this holiday ;D

After flying into Dubai last night I was going to find a hotel.  But then I realized the time and was able to catch a delayed flight to my next destination.  So I took the jumpseat for this one and continued on to Islamabad, Pakistan.

Lifting off out of Dubai.

Climbing out.

Flying left base at OPRN.  I have never been to Pakistan before and am curious as to what i will find.  Being night i cant see to much :P

Finaly on aproch.  Coming in a bit high and with a mild crosswind.
Image
Its about 2 AM and we are parked at the gate.  Aircraft is now empty and everyone is off to where ever.  Not sure as to my next destination but plan to explore before I leave.
Image
And last but not least a map of all my flights.  All 25 of them.  They all go in a continueous line if put togather.  No jumping around from place to place with no log as to getting there ;)  I have noticed some pilots of the VA just fly to and from where ever with no show as to connecting to these places :P  You can see my around the world trip for the most part.  Ampsterdam-Delhi-Hong Kong (quick run over to Taipei and back)-Tokyo-Atlanta-Gatwick-and finaly Dubai to make it official. ;)  Also my log book now reads 102 hours.  25 flights.  Though for some reason it did not show a promotion.  They did not say anything as to wether all hours and flights had to be with Air France to count for that not including the many FTG affiliates ???  If so then I have some serious flying to do :'(

lol       i tend to do the same thing when its not for the VA.  Even if there is an aircraft on the runway i eather bring it in behind for a short stop or if they are pulling onto the runway for takeoff i just buzz them  :P  Nothin like a 777 coming in a few feet above a little A319  ;)

Triple7-

I too am part of FTG. The promotions are acutally not automatic, unfortunately. I think that some admin. has to do it by themselves, so it may be awhile. I also should be promoted... 8) 8)
