Try eliminating mip-maps in your repaint textures. The repaints themselves will show up much clearer and more crisp.

Excellent repaints, tho! I might have to download a few!

I was there once. LOL!

The best way to land a helicopter is to make sure your airspeed and your vertical speed indicator are both reading somewhere within 1-5 knots, and I also like to make sure that my attitude indicator is reading a slight uphill pitch. This flares the helicopter for landing and slows the helicopter down to where you could land effortlessly.  Keep constant emphasis on the cyclic controls as well, and if you have a twist function on your joystick, use the twist function to maintain small pedal adjustments to keep it from drifting or yawing out of control.

I'm still working on high speed landings, though.

Not to sound ignorant, but what is a mip-map anyway?

It's almost like packaging several bitmaps into one, and each bitmap is smaller than the one before it. If you use imagetool.exe, you can see the mipmaps in the form of successively smaller bitmaps to the right of the main one.
