It's not a FS airport.

Getting a plane out is the easy part.  Try getting one in!  ;D

:o Wow what a rush!  ;D

Like they say getting out is easy (with a jet like the Tomcat)  8)

But Getting back in is the real hard part  :-/!

I made an attempt to try it out and all I can say is "THIS IS GOING TO BE FUN".

The trick is to enter the Casm in a nose dive and hopefully be able to pull out of it and line yourself up with the runway.  ;D

Unfortunately for me...I went in the hole with the right plan. But I ran out of time to line up with the runway! :-/. I smacked the ass of my tomcat on the runway (I know that had to hurt) but I didn't slam into the ground with enough force to crash. I actually had enough runway to put her down. But I didn't realize it after pulling up to avoid a crash!

This brings a sense of adventure to FS2004 everyone should give it a whirl. it is fun!

That looks wild! Is it easier to land in there or take off?
When it absolutely, positively, has to be taken out overnight...

It's easier to take off, especially if you use any plane related to the two in your sig and avatar! ;D
And it's not easy to land ANYTHING in there~  a nose dive is pretty much required.

fun airport...

Got the default 737 in and out, Got a POSKY 747 out (drastically reduced fuel and payload) and in... except I hit the runway too hard and crashed.

That was very impressive! I guess you would have to drop the fuel payload to lighten that aircraft to make a sharp turn like that!

I made the same approach you did, but went for the runway straight up as opposed to going around! Which I should have done! but I thought I would hit a wall turning around in there!

Wasn't succesfull on my first try! Crashed and burned on the runway! Came in too hard!

The F16 is one of the easiest aircraft to land in this airport! It can glide and maintain a slow flight enough to manuever in the hole!

No wonder you used that aircraft! I made a couple of landings rather easy. Slow moving aircrafts are easy to land in this hole!
