ATC SIM

Postby Nexus » Sun Dec 05, 2004 9:00 pm

A new ATC sim has recently been released by SSS, it's freeware and very easy to use!
Only limitation is that so far you can only control Stockholm TMA  ;D

More info is available at www.fsnordic.net

here's how my setup looks:

I'm by far an ATC wiz, but it took me 15mins then I was directing traffic like a pro  ;D  ::)

Dude, ATC guys are CRAZY.  I thought pilots had to memorize a lot, I took one look at an example from the ATCers handbook and I was like "whoa... wtf?"  I'm sure this program is probably a bit more user friendly ;D.

Is that the one where Billy Bob Thornton and John Cussack fool around in the wake of a landing 747?

Kinda cool movie...   ;D

This program is really nice.  Easy in the beginning, but when more airplanes come into the same space... wow... it's tough.  I think I've been doing fairly well though, pretty proud of myself.  I recommend it though, for anyone who is interested in ATC.  It is a pretty big file though...

Just wanted to add that if you have a microphone, you can use your voice to direct traffic.  I just realized that last night and have been up all night talking to the aircraft.
